1. Who we are
Bix is a browser automation tool that helps you and your AI agents capture screenshots, extract content, and run scheduled browser tasks. We operate at bix.app.
2. What we collect
- Account info — email address, name (from OAuth provider), and API key
- Integration tokens — OAuth tokens when you connect services like Notion, Slack, or GitHub. Stored encrypted.
- Usage data — which API endpoints you call, credit usage, timestamps
- Job data — scripts you upload, job configurations, run logs, screenshots, and reports
- Payment info — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
3. How we use it
- To run your browser automations and scheduled jobs
- To connect to services you authorize (Notion, Slack, etc.)
- To track your credit balance and usage
- To improve the product and fix bugs
- To communicate about your account (only when necessary)
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not show you ads.
4. Integration data
When you connect bix to services like Notion or Slack:
- We only access the data needed to perform your requested actions
- OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored in our database
- We never read or access your workspace data beyond what your automation requires
- You can disconnect at any time from your bix dashboard or the connected service's settings
5. Who we share data with
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — authentication (sign-up/login only)
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and compute
We do not share your data with anyone else. No analytics trackers, no advertising networks.
6. Data storage & security
- Data is stored on globally distributed infrastructure
- All connections use TLS encryption in transit
- OAuth tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest
- API keys use cryptographic signature verification
7. Data retention & deletion
- Your data is kept while your account is active
- Job run artifacts (screenshots, logs, reports) are kept for 90 days
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Email privacy@bix.app to request full data deletion
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you're in California, you have rights under CCPA. Contact us and we'll help.
9. Children
Bix is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
