1. Agreement
By using bix, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What bix does
Bix is a browser automation platform. It captures screenshots, extracts content, runs custom browser scripts, and schedules recurring jobs — via CLI, API, or dashboard. Results are stored and accessible through your account.
3. Your account
- Keep your API key and credentials secure
- You're responsible for all activity on your account
- Provide accurate information when signing up
- One account per person or organization
4. Acceptable use
Use bix for legitimate purposes. Don't use it to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Violate other websites' terms of service in harmful ways
- Scrape personal data without consent
- Harm, harass, or impersonate others
- Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage caps
- Resell bix access without permission
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your data
- You own your data — scripts, job results, screenshots, and extracted content
- You grant us a license to process your data solely to provide the service
- We don't claim ownership of anything you create with bix

6. Third-party services
Bix connects to services like Notion, Slack, Google, and GitHub. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. You're responsible for complying with them. We're not responsible for third-party service availability or changes.
7. Credits & payments
- Bix uses a pay-as-you-go credit system
- New accounts receive 100 free credits
- Additional credits are purchased via Stripe
- Credits are non-refundable once used
- Unused credit packs can be refunded within 7 days of purchase
- Prices are in USD
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Browser automations depend on third-party websites that may change, block, or go down. We're not liable for automation failures caused by external sites.
9. No warranties
Bix is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that automations will always produce perfect results. Web pages change, sites add protections, and network conditions vary.
10. Limitation of liability
Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 6 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days (or immediately on request)
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco, California.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
